Interface gives back to the community at YYC Tech Gives Food Bank Spam Cup

(CALGARY, AB, CANADA, DECEMBER 9 2018) The Interface team volunteered their time at the Calgary Food Bank, sorting food and raising funds at YYC Tech Gives Spam Cup. Over 17,000 lbs of food was sorted!

The event featured a friendly competition, with 25 technology company teams racing to pack the most food for those in need this holiday season. Interface placed second in their heat and was grateful for help from 2018 SPE president, Darcy Spady, as the teams ringer distracting other teams with holiday songs on his accordion.

“Giving back to the community is important,” says Kirstie Boyle Director Market Development at Interface Fluidics. “It is inspiring to see what we accomplished today, coming together to support the Calgary Food Bank.”
