What is SapphireLab

SapphireLab is a laboratory instrument that uses microfluidics to help you analyze fluid interactions and measure fluid properties at high pressures (up to 1,034 bar/15,000 psi) and temperatures (up to 200°C/400°F) at the micro and nano scale.

SapphireLab is more than a collection of equipment. It is an integrated system that includes what you need to easily, safely, and accurately run microfluidic tests in your laboratory.

Unparalleled Insights

SapphireLab shows how fluids behave and interact under real-life operating pressures, temperatures, and pore space. SapphireLab provides deeper insights than with traditional fluid testing instruments such as core floods, slim tubes, and bottle tests.

With SapphireLab, you can see it and measure it.

The SapphireLab Process

Flexible and Powerful

SapphireLab is like a smartphone for industrial fluid analysis, and our microfluidic chips are the apps.

Like a smartphone, each SapphireLab instrument is capable of running a variety of fluid tests.

Want to run a different fluid test? Just use a different microfluidic chip and procedure.

The potential for how we can use SapphireLab to help solve fluid property measurements and interaction problems is limitless, only constrained by need, our imaginations, and the time and effort needed to design a new app.

Focus on Your Science, Not the Technology

Use our SapphireLab system to answer fluid questions in the energy, carbon storage, and mineral industries. Our microfluidic system, capable of high pressure and temperature, helps explain fluid behavior and enables our clients to make critical business decisions.
